Fortune 100 Energy Company


CHALLENGE: During prior two years, company had been unable to align business units to establish a comprehensive customer management approach and standardized business processes.

SOLUTION: Define a contact center and customer management strategy.

RESULT: In eight weeks aligned executives and gained sponsorship from five independent business units, enabling the project to be funded and implementation to begin.

WHAT WE DID:

  • Researched current operations and practices across business units and interviewed key individuals to determine each unit's vision, goals and objectives. 
  • Collaborated with cross-functional sponsorship team to plan and define objectives for a strategic planning session.
  • Developed a “Fact Book” for all participants of a strategic planning session to establish a common foundation of knowledge.
  • Led leaders from five business units through a 1½-day strategic planning session.
  • Developed vision document including a set of ‘guiding principals’ that was used to maintain focus during additional detail design work and implementation.
